Week 3 - term 2a

This week saw us continue our English work in the Anglo-Saxon legend, Beowulf. We’ve spent time this week understanding the 3 main parts of the story, understand what kind of sentences were used and showing our understanding of the story by mapping it out.

The class were totally engrossed in the story - they hated Grendl and loved Beowulf coming to the rescue. We are going to write our own legends next week.

This week we had a think about interpreting data in geography; we looked at a number of graphs and had a go at working out what they told us. We also carried on our work with Miss Hyde in art, this week we designed our own brooch and then experimented with a range of materials which included aluminium foil and gold and silver paper.
