Based on recent events in our local area, we began to do some work on knife crime in PSHCE. In our first session, we developed a character in our groups who was going to be part of a story - throughout the story, the character faced a number of problems that we had to help them solve.
In English, we began writing from a characters perspective. We put ourselves in role as the main character of the story and wrote about their dreams of being a great Viking warrior one day.
