  • Was recruited for his basketball skills and got a full ride offer to Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU), where he was a four year starter for the Rams
  • Started 103-of-142 games and totaled 1,092 points, 663 rebounds, 87 steals, 112 assists and 255 blocks in 3,322 minutes
  • Did not play football until his freshman year in high school, but his athleticism allowed him to make the transition to football similar to the paths of former San Diego Chargers tight end, Antonio Gates and Seattle tight end, Jimmy Graham
  • Went back to receive his Master's degree from VCU in 2018
  • Signed a three year contract extension with the Colts in March, 2022

NFL Career

  • Signed by the Colts as an undrafted free agent on April 21, 2017
  • Was promoted to the active roster on September 28, 2018. In Week 4, against the Houston Texans, he made his NFL debut
  • Recorded first career touchdown catch, a highlight reel one-handed grab, on a 26-yard reception from Andrew Luck in a 42–28 victory over the Raiders on October 28, 2018
  • During the 2020 season, Mo had another solid year--caught five receptions for 111 yards against the Vikings in Week 3
  • Re-signed a one-year contract on May 3, 2021--making him one of the Colts' main tight ends for the 2021 season

2021 Season

  • Through Week 7, already has four receiving touchdowns as one of the starting tight ends for Indy
  • Posted a career-high, two touchdown performance against the Dolphins in Week 6
  • Tallied four total touchdowns during the 2021 season
