Y2: Life processes - In Science, we have been learning about the seven life processes that all living things do; Movement, Respiration, Sensitivity, Growth, Reproduction, Excretion and Nutrition. We then used our knowledge of life processes to decide if different items were living, dead or never alive in the first place.
Y4: Inquiring into science - Year 4 are scientists and inquirers. They have been learning about states of matter and how they can change. Year 4 carried out an experiment to investigate what happened to the temperature of water when ice cubes were added. This involved using thermometers to take temperature measurements in degrees centigrade.
