Open Classrooms

On Wednesday 23rd November we have our open classrooms (between 3.10pm and 4.10pm). This is a time for parents to sit with their child and have a look through all the amazing work they have done so far this year. We look forward to seeing you next week!

Non Uniform Day

FOMPS are busy planning for the School Christmas Fayre, which is taking place on Friday 2nd December.

Friday 25th November will be non-uniform Day. If you are able, they are asking your child to bring in a Christmas-themed prize for the Christmas Tombola stall.

They are also looking for donations of chocolate for the "Chocombola". If you are able, please bring in donations to the classrooms. The class with the most donations will win a prize!

Weekly Achievement Awards

Achievement certificates are awarded to one child per class every week in our celebration assembly.

Congratulation in week 3 to: Grayson, Aubrie, Evie, Brody, Tiarna, Bea, John, Laurie & Hermes

Hot Chocolate Friday

Teachers chose one child from each class who has gone over and above during week in helping others. The selected children then have a hot chocolate with Mr Rafferty.

This weeks achievers are: Albie, Anya, Florence, Constance, Ruby, Madeleine, Eli, Anna & Reuben

Donations Wanted

Small clean Jam Jars for Mrs Rees' Forest School. Please can any donations be brought to Rabbits' Classroom. Many Thanks

Rabbits' class children need to bring in a cereal box for lesson's next week.

Reception children are looking for Superhero and Frozen themed donations. If you have any small action figures or dressing up costumes that you no longer need and would be happy to donate, please bring them to Mrs McCartney in Fieldmice.

KS2 Christmas Play Songs

An email with all of the Christmas play songs has been sent home today.

Christmas Performance Dates

We can also confirm the following Christmas performance dates. Further information regarding arrangements will be sent home soon.

Tuesday 6th December @9.15am: Reception (school hall)

Thursday 8th December @1.45pm and 6pm : Years 1 and 2 (school hall)

Thursday 15th December @1.30pm and 6pm: Years 3-6 (Neeld Hall)

Next week is Chocombola Week!

Please send in chocolate donations with your child(ren) during the week commencing 21st November. Chocolate will be raffled on the Chocombola stall at the fair. As in previous years, the class that collects the most chocolate in the week win a prize!

Thank you for everyone who has already offered to help with the Christmas Fair. We have now added more roles for volunteers to help set up and man the stalls on the night. Please go to volunteersignup.org/H747T and show your support!

We are looking for Homemade Christmas gifts and crafts to sell on our Gift stall. Please bring your creations to the school office.

The café would like donations of cakes and biscuits please, to be delivered to School office on the 2nd December.

Family and Community Learning

Family and Community Learning have their new 2022/23 prospectus available. You can find a copy on the Parent Support Advisor page of our website.

Courses are funded by the Education and Skills Funding Agency. Courses are no cost to you if you:

• are 19+ and have been a resident in UK/EU for 3+years (refugees* / asylum seekers / have right to remain status are exempt from the 3-year residency requirement)

• And you either have less than 5 GCSEs grades A-C, are in receipt of benefits, a military family or you may have other issues that joining a course could help you with. You might be stuck in a rut or going through a difficult time? We want to hear from people who are unsure about if they can join, and we are always happy to talk things through.
