Children always love to work and learn about wild animals. Mostly they think about wild animals living far away in other continents, but even in our civilization there are wild animals living and some coming back after years of extinction.
For example wolf populations are reviving in parts of Europe, in an effort to return some of the landscape to wilderness. In this project we want to learn about those species and pick some to have a deeper look.
Our dictionary
All partners created a collection of domestic animals
We sorted them according to 3 criteria on a collaborative jamboard.
All these we added them to a common multilingual audiovisual dictionary made with book creator.
We learned that it is important to respect the image rights and also to name the origin of used media.

Tracks
Learning about tracks
Polish team even had the chance to look for real animals' tracks on the fresh snow.
Wolves tracks
As if pearls are on a string, the tracks of the individual footprints stretch over a long distance. The wolf always puts the hind paw on the imprint of the front paw.
We used a stencil to draw such farts on a very long sheet of paper and then tried to follow the trail on all fours like a wolf. The foot had to go where the hand was before. Pretty hard to do.

All teams made a research about wolves and shared the results with the whole group.

We took a song from the English book of the German kids called "Walking through the Jungle" and made own texts for our project song.

German and Polish teams could meet several times. Unfortunately we couldn't find a good moment with Slovakian team. But of course they watched the videos from the conferences and tried the games we made.
