Youth, the period between one's childhood and adulthood, is a time of bliss and endless joy. As one matures with age it is natural for the increasing responsibilities and uncertainty to consume one's life. However, if one can allow themselves to return to that time of childlike wonder, they are able to revive the lighthearted selves they had once held dear.
In exploring this idea, I captured a teen enjoying activities commonly done by children in colorful and brightly-lit scenes. Photographing a subject who is commonly viewed as having passed the appropriate age to be enjoying “childlike” activities serves to represent this idea of youth. And so, I present to you, "Fountain of Youth".
