Congratulations Danut, we hope you have a well-deserved, relaxing spa break.
Employee of the Month
A massive congratulations to Alert Health 24's December Employee of the Month: Isabela de Souza from the Hampshire Branch.
Sarah Barrett our Hampshire manager nominated Isabela for this award to say thank you for all her incredible work.
“Since joining as a ‘refer a friend’ Isabela has been such a wonderful staff member, she is flexible and always makes herself available when the clients need her. I have introduced her to a new client and she has had wonderful feedback saying that she is going above and beyond to engage with the service users and find ways to improve their day to day life.
Isabela has only been with AH 24 for a few months but is someone who I rely upon and wouldn’t want to be without.”
We want to thank Isabela for being such an incredible and caring team member, and for going above and beyond to help others! We are so proud to have you as part of the Alert Health 24 team!

1. How long have you worked in the care sector? And more specifically for Alert Health 24?
I’ve been working in care recruitment for 13 years, just approaching 3 years with Alert Health 24.
2. Which part of your job do you enjoy the most?
I enjoy the difference our staff can make to services and hearing about the great job they are all doing.
3. Who do you have working with you in the Devon Branch?
Hannah Matson, our Healthcare Recruitment Consultant who does a great job.
4. What would you say you are most proud of?
Working with so many local Devon services and receiving such positive feedback from our clients.
5. What do you think you will find most challenging in the next 6 months?
I think the biggest challenge will be the growing demand from care services, due to challenging recruitment.
6. What do you get up to in your free time?
Me and my partner have 2 rescue dogs from Romania, both are quite a handful, a lot of our time is spent on them.
7. What was your very first job?
I had a paper round age 11 If I remember correctly, I then had different hospitality and retail roles from the age of 14 (which was allowed when I was 14, making me feel old…
8. If you had to be an animal, which animal would you be and why?
I’d have to pick a dog, mainly because I’m such a big fan of them, I can’t walk around Exeter without stopping and saying hello to at least 1 dog!
9. What is your favourite sweet treat?
I don’t really have a sweet treat, I’m more of a savoury snacker, Pringles and Doritos are not safe around me.
10. If you could have any superhero power, what would it be and why?
I think I’d go for flight, no more traffic, you’d get everywhere in no time.
