Project SHARE (Support for Hypertension Awareness, Reduction, and Education)
The Harlem Health Promotion Center (HHPC) is a collaboration of community, academic, and public health stakeholders which uses research, education, advocacy, and service delivery to improve the health and well-being of the Harlem community.
In collaboration with Columbia University’s Harlem Health Promotion Center and Get Healthy Harlem, Project SHARE was a research study, which aimed to find the best ways to lower high blood pressure in Harlem and Upper Manhattan through helping individuals change their specific behaviors that contribute to higher blood pressure.
