OH!-LINE, THE SVELTE LIGHT. Imagine sitting beneath a halo of light. This is the effect created by Oh!Line, a svelte circle of light. Designed by Marivi Calvo & Burkhard Dämmer, Oh!Line is available in two sizes: medium and large suspension. With its slim form, wood veneer, dimmable LED, and light-filtering diffuser, Oh!Line radiates warmth and elegance. Light from the ring-shaped Oh!Line provides a relaxed ambience and a focused glow.

Oh!-Line & I-Line

I-LINE, THE ARCHITECTURAL LIGHT. I-Line is a smooth and sleek lamp, with a clean, architectural line. Designed by long-time LZF collaborator Burkhard Dämmer, I-Line is available in two sizes: medium and large suspension. I-Line’s unfussy design is perfect in places and spaces that call for a practical, yet elegant, luminaire: above a countertop or a work table, for example. I-Line’s wood veneer, dimmable LED, and light-filtering diffuser, provide both direct and ambient light. In I-Line, Burkhard Dämmer has created a lamp that is simple, symmetrical and serene.

About Burkhard Dämmer...

German-born designer Burkhard Dämmer has a background in cabinetmaking and an education in industrial design. To Burkhard, the concept of design means finding good answers to new and old problems. He considers working with veneer and light a special challenge, and has created a number of handsome lights for LZF.

About Marivi Calvo...

Founder and Creative Director of LZF. From 1986 to 1992 she exhibited her art on both sides of the Atlantic basing her studio in New york, Madrid and Paris. When in Paris in 1991 she began to write and work on “The Kitchen Lady” a surrealist dance performance in which she designed the costumes and sets and whose results also gave her a large amount of source material for subsequent art exhibitions using a mixed technique of photography on canvas paintings.

In 1994 she co-founded LZF Lamps along with Sandro Tothill, a company making handmade wood veneer lighting fixtures. Since then she is main partner and creative director of the company and has developed and directed all aspects of the creative art department of the company. She has designed some of the companies more emblematic lighting fixtures, such as The Candelabro, The Guijarros and the Gea & Cosmos collections, as well as being responsible for the design of all the company’s exhibits and, with the help of key freelancers, creates the company’s prize winning campaigns.
