Letter from the Founder
It is with great pride and excitement that I welcome you to delve into the report of the Baraxana Arts Festival 2023.
This year, we embarked on a groundbreaking journey, merging the dynamism of artificial intelligence with the rich tapestry of African culture.
Our festival showcased a spectacular array of talents, from music to visual arts and fashion, and introduced for the first time the musical theatre “IBADAN” by A Tale By Nightfall Series, starring our headliner Edge Golbador, which captured our audience rapt attention, all under the theme "Leveraging Artificial Intelligence For A Sustainable Creative And Cultural Industry."
As we navigate this era of technological advancement, our goal was to illuminate how AI can enhance and sustain the cultural and creative sectors.
This festival, held at the Tamarald Event Center in Jos, was not just an event; it was a movement. A movement towards embracing change while honoring our heritage.
As you read through this report, I hope you feel the same sense of wonder and inspiration that filled the air during those two remarkable days.

About Baraxana Arts Festival 2023
As we worked towards presenting 2023’s festival, we could not ignore the strides in change that had taken place, affecting every facet of our lives.
These changes birthed opportunities that we have chosen to embrace for good, rather than run away from.
It was our utmost desire to bring you Baraxana Arts Festival packed with sumptuous activities in person and online with never before experienced, workshops, theatre to mention a few. We was our aim, to showcase Our rich African culture in fashion design, visual arts and music, in Jos, Plateau State, where we also featured one of the finest in music, poetry and dance etc.
While this was yet another big stride for us, it was our pleasure to keep our promise of socioeconomic impact, cultural and educational exchange, patriotism and tourism with the aim to achieve our selected SDGs.

At first it seemed so distant hearing about AI
It’s not so distant now, in fact it’s here and here to stay as it audaciously takes it’s place in every industry, the creative and cultural industries, not excluded. See the impact it’s having on day to day activities and the opportunities it is yet creating in the midst of a slowly creeping economic turmoil. AI begs to be mastered and calls all who dare to get hands on.
We have only but scratched the surface of AI, digging into a rabbit hole. Who knows where it will lead? When you know how to leverage on AI, you can confidently predict where you want to be.
While we celebrate the rich tapestry of cultures, ideas, and talents from diverse regions, including Plateau, Nigeria, Sub-Sahara Africa, and beyond, our festival promises an immersive experience that knows no borders. LevonAI and Arts and Culture are intertwined, where innovation harmonizes with tradition, and global diversity dances with the rhythm of AI.
