Oberbaum the absence of misery

Not only one of Berlin's legendary's bridges, where she lived in her twenties, OBERBAUM is Lucie Rezsöhazy's first solo flight as a musician after playing with Fabiola, Condore and Les Juliens. She offers a joyfully melancholic indie pop in which her influences are elegantly distilled: Andy Shauf, Julia Jacklin, and artists from the nineties like Sparklehorse and Cardigans. Musically trained in classical and jazz, and brought up on the rock-pop of the last decades, Lucie comes out of her teenage bedroom with her first singles WE YEARNSOBBING DRY and THE ABSENCE OF MISERY.

In live, she forms a strong trio with Aurélien Auchain (Mountain Bike, June Moan, Primevère) on bass and Antoine Pasqualini (Monolithe Noir) on drums. Her first album is to be released on February 12th on Freaksville Records with a release party at the Rotonde (Botanique). Aurélien Auchain produced the tracks, with the participation of Aurélie Muller (Blondy Brownie, Trésor), Catherine De Biasio (Ici Baba, Blondy Brownie) and Remy Lebbos (mastering).
