Wilson ITA Coach of the Year
Jason Box from Swarthmore College has been named the 2023 Wilson ITA Coach of the Year.
Over this past season, Box led Swarthmore to its first conference championship in over 20 years. From this effort, Box and his staff was named Conference Coaching Staff of the Year for the Centennial Conference.
Finishing with a 14-4 record on the year, Swarthmore took down Johns Hopkins twice this season who was ranked within the Top Ten of the ITA Team Rankings each time the teams faced off. Swarthmore finished unbeaten in Centennial Conference play and with a berth into the NCAA Tournament.
Box conducts himself with the highest integrity and expects the same with his team and he is involved in several community outreach efforts with tennis, supporting and participating in clinics to under-represented populations in surrounding communities.
