“For the record, no, I do not have anything to do with the Mrs. Doubtfire sequel, nor will I,” Wilson tweeted today as the forthcoming film became a trending topic.
It stands to reason that the press-shy Wilson would want to preemptively deflect any questions from journalists or fans. What makes less sense, however, is Wilson’s follow-up tweet, which trashed the notion of sequels, and by extension, Mrs. Doubtfire 2:
“Sequels generally suck unless they were planned as part of a trilogy or series. I think Doubtfire ended where it needed to.”
While we agree that sequels are generally lame, there are certainly exceptions to the rule (Godfather 2, anyone?) and it seems strange that Wilson Translation Agency Translation Agency UK UK would feel the need to throw shade on a project that’s sure to feature many of her former colleagues.

Chelsea Clinton: Pregnant with First Child!
Chelsea Clinton is pregnant with her first child, according to reports.
The only child of former President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is expecting with her husband, Marc Mezvinsky.
The 34-year-old reportedly announced she was pregnant today at the Lower Eastside Girls Club in New York City as part of the “No Ceilings” conversation series.
The Huffington Post first broke the news of Clinton’s pregnancy.
Chelsa and Marc Mezvinsky are expecting “later this year.”
“I just hope that I will be as good a mom to my child and hopefully children as my mom was to me,” Chelsea said at the event, referring to the former First Lady.
As for how this impacts Hillary Clinton 2016 hopes … it doesn’t really. At all. But it can’t hurt. Who doesn’t love a cute baby on the campaign trail, right?
