The Slice of Saugatuck festival, run by the Westport-Weston Chamber of Commerce, was held for its 10th year on Saturday, Sept. 10. The festival took place by the Westport Train Station. Locals were able to taste test food from nearby restaurants, stop by local retailers and kids could participate in activities such as playing in the bouncy house or sitting in the vintage fire truck .
Proceeds of over $40,000 from the event were put towards the Gillespie Food Pantry, a local shelter that serves meals to those at risk of homelessness and others in need from the local community.
