Dear Bobcat Families,
So many of you stepped up and voted for the override in hopes that we could finally pay our teachers a competitive salary. The quality of any school is dependent almost completely by the quality of its teachers. This would help ensure that we can continue to retain and hire the best. Unfortunately, 58% of the Cave Creek vote was influenced by politically driven efforts to misinform and damage public education. So, here we are, caught in the crossfire by those who do not understand who we are and what we do. It is disheartening to say the least. Our children deserve better!
Still, I wanted to take a moment to say that while the majority of voters cast a vote against our teachers, I know that the majority of you support us, stand with us, and fight for us. Please know that we see you and appreciate you. Your support is felt on a daily basis. The small gestures of kindness and appreciation matter! The kind words, volunteering, donations, partnering, and even the occasional treat 🍰☕️ from our parents helps us to put this loss in context. Thank you for staying engaged and using the reality of what we do, who we are, and what we value to override the lies and daily attacks from the misinformed.
Please know that we love your kids and will continue to stand for them. Our staff is dedicated and will continue to meet each day with the heart and care that your children deserve. We will not let this beat us. In fact, with your help, we will be better and stronger than ever. Thank you for being a true partner and showing what a school can be when parents and staff truly care. We can’t do it without you!

I big congratulations to these four dedicated BMES teachers (Mrs. Brick, Ms. Klebosky, Mrs. Lovewell, & Mrs. Maximoff) who wrote and were awarded grants from the Cave Creek Unified Education Foundation. This time and effort will go directly to helping BMES kids. Thank you teachers! Thank you CCUEF!!!
This week was National School Psychologist week. We are so lucky to have Dr. Vermes at BMES!!!!
On Thursday, November 10th, we were lucky to have so many amazing heroes on campus!!!! It is a true honor to celebrate our brave veterans each year!!!! We love making them feel our gratitude while teaching the next generation what what the face of courage looks like and what it means to have pride in America. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 GOD BLESS AMERICA AND GOD BLESS OUR VETERANS!!!
Many hands make light work!
Please join us for a few hours Saturday morning, 11/19/22, to tackle some simple clean-up, repair, and organizational tasks around campus to beautify our school and assist our teachers and staff in keeping things running smoothly. This is a great opportunity for parents to demonstrate to children the value of contributing to their community, and for students to earn volunteer hours. Materials and direction will be provided.
Have an older student earning community service hours?? Bring them along and we would be happy to sign off!!

November 8, 2022 is the date for this year's upcoming General Election. We do not have to remind you about many of the important issues that will be decided at the upcoming election....you get reminded every day by the election commercials about some of the issues. At this election, leaders for state offices will be decided and all 90 state representative and senator positions will be elected. In addition, the election of school board members and bond and override elections will happen. We want to remind you of things you need to know to make sure that you will be eligible to vote on November 8, 2022. Link to https://www.arizona.vote/ to get information from the Office of the Arizona Secretary of State to make sure you will be ready to vote. This site will help you with "Your Voter Info" to check your voter registration and to request a ballot by mail. If not registered to vote, "Register To Vote".
It is important that you check your voter registration status now because you must be registered on or before October 11, 2022 to be eligible to vote on November 8, 2022. IT IS SO EASY TO VOTE BUT SO IMPORTANT THAT YOU DO. Please feel free to share this information with others. The individuals elected on November 8, 2022 will decide policy and funding issues that will impact your school district and your school district related business for years to come.
