2021 reBirth - Work in progress

The project starts from the need to get rid of toxic moods accumulated in this period. Flowers and their meanings are used to represent these emotions. With their beauty and naturalness they have been used to express heavy concepts. A symbolism and an intimate research that have led to the conception of images that can convey suffering but also the liberation from a difficult and tormented relationship, go through its various phases, understand and exorcise emotions that are sometimes hard to understand, but that basically everyone has experienced at least once in a lifetime.

Il progetto parte dall'esigenza di liberarsi di stati d'animo tossici accumulati in questo periodo. I fiori e loro significati vengono utilizzati per rappresentare queste emozioni. Con la loro bellezza e naturalezza sono stati impiegati per esprimere concetti pesanti. Un simbolismo e una ricerca intima che hanno portato a concepire immagini che possano trasmettere la sofferenza ma anche la liberazione da una relazione difficile e tormentata, attraversarne le varie fasi, capire ed esorcizzare emozioni talvolta dure da comprendere, ma che in fondo tutti hanno provato almeno una volta nella vita.

Quando le parole non servono e si rivelano sono aria, si svuotano di significato di fronte ai fatti, non servono più. Non serve più parlare, resta solo quello che accade, solo la sensazione di vuoto che lasciano tra le labbra. The Anemone is the flower that represents abandonment. It is no longer necessary to talk, only what happens is left, only the feeling of emptiness that they leave between the lips. - Pain_Crisentemo bianco Il Crisantemo bianco è il fiore che rappresenta il V verità e dolore, un cuore sconsolato. Un dolore che ti spezza in due, talmente somatizzato da devastarti dentro, fisicamente lo senti nella pancia come fitte atroci. Passare attraverso questo dolore è difficile, sembra impossibile, spine conficcate nella carne. Ma è solo così che si può rinascere. The white chrysanthemum is the flower that represents the V truth and pain, a disconsolate heart. A pain that breaks you in two, so somatized as to devastate you inside, physically you feel it in your stomach like atrocious pangs. Attese è un progetto che indaga le difficoltà dei giovani di oggi in una società che non da loro speranze per il futuro: il clima, il lavoro, la politica, tutto è oppressivo e asfissiante. Tutto genera impotenza e un'attesa verso un cambiamento che non si sa se e quando ci sarà. Waiting è anche un progetto personale che esprime uno stato d'animo ansioso e ostruito da ciò che mi circonda. Attese è anche un progetto personale che esprime uno stato d'animo ansioso e ostruito da ciò che ci circonda. Una sorta di presagio, se rivisto ai giorni contemporanei, davanti all'opprimente ed ineluttabile destino a cui ci trovavamo.

L'impossibilità di movimento a causa di un blocco, mentale e fisica. C'è ma in realtà non esiste. È brillante e presente, è irreale ma paralizzante. Come una placenta psichica da cui non puoi rinascere, una trappola esistenziale dalla quale non puoi sfuggire. Senza aria. Cerca la luce, ma gli occhi non possono guardare oltre se stessi. Xmas_Light 2015- 2018

Xmas_Lights è un viaggio nella provincia più profonda, tra le stradine dei paesi alla ricerca delle luci di un Natale popolare e disordinato che creano un’estetica tutta loro, una grammatica e una logica fatta di religione e di paganesimo da centro commerciale. Le lucine di Natale dei negozi cinesi disegnano le architetture in un allegro marasma barocco.

Xmas_Lights is a journey into the deepest province, through the narrow streets of the towns in search of the lights of a popular and messy Christmas that create their own aesthetic, grammar and logic made of religion and shopping mall paganism. The Christmas lights of the Chinese shops draw the architecture in a cheerful baroque chaos.
