Read-a-thon!

Do you love pizza? Do you love to read?Join our April Read-a-thon! Reading calendars (on bright yellow paper) were sent home last Friday in student folders. Please help your child by reading with them and recording the number of minutes you read together daily on the calendar. The reading minutes for each class will be added up weekly and displayed in the CES lobby. The kindergarten and first grade class with the most minutes read will win a pizza party!!

Please contact Mrs. Kirouac, our Reading Specialist at akirouac@dcrsd.org with any questions.

Spiritwear from PTO!!

So excited to drop our new Spiritwear! Designs for each school as well as our "Charlton" design. HUGE thank you to Thom Wilk for the amazing designs! Lots of great options with free school delivery. The store will be open year-round with no order deadline. Check it out! Click Here for LINK!

Extra Clothes!

We keep extra clothes on hand in the nurse's office to provide to students that may have a mishap at school. We are in need of clean, gently used short sleeve shirts, pants/leggings, and shorts (sizes 5-12) and new underwear and socks. Donated items can be dropped off in the main office or nurse's office. Thank you so much for anything you are able to bring!

Kindergarten Screening!

The families of students who are fully registered for kindergarten 2022-2023 will soon receive a link to sign-up for kindergarten screening on May 2nd or May 9th.

All Massachusetts school districts use a kindergarten screening assessment in compliance with state regulations. The purpose of kindergarten screening is to identify students who may need additional support or further evaluation for support services. There is no “passing” or “failing” of screening, only information provided to the school to best serve the students.
