Rain forecast was for later in the day, but it rained anyway just before departure. Not to worry, roads were dry within minutes and the rain and thunderstorms came as predicted after we had settled into our Agriturismo for the evening!
We covered off just over 40km with 666m of climbing. Nothing too difficult if you are on your own light weight road bike, but definitely more challenging with a heavy ATM (All terrain bike with panniers) not that we are carrying much as our bags are being transferred everyday for us.
Sorry Alison, I can’t say there were any real highlights today (other than the dung beetle!) luckily we are all happy in our own company!
