Planning is already underway, and the excitement is building as we work through the details, surprises, and new features that are sure to bring smiles to the faces of our supporters and event attendees!
Over the last two years, the impact of the pandemic has resulted in the cancellation of many of our events, causing a major loss in funds that are vital for the operation of our programs. These special events are so important to our fundraising efforts and provide the resources we need to operate the programs and services for the children, families, and communities in Delaware.

Dave and Rose Furio have partnered with the Children’s Beach House (CBH) to honor their beautiful daughter Ashley Nicole Furio, whose dream was to help children with special needs. Proceeds of The Ashley Furio 5K Run/Walk directly support the Child Development Center at CBH which serves 3-and 4-year old preschoolers with developmental challenges due to speech, hearing and language delays/disabilities. David, Rose, and their daughter Alicia, are carrying on Ashley’s legacy in a way that will benefit generations of children to come.

Art competition, exhibition, show & sale
Plein Air Brandywine Valley is an “en plein air” (open air) painting competition, exhibition and sale, featuring 50 of our country’s finest artists interpreting the beauty of the Brandywine Valley. For one week, artists paint some of the most scenic properties in and around the Brandywine Valley including private estates, land preserves and renowned duPont properties.
