Autumn Term 1a week 7

Our last week of this half term produced some fantastic work from all the children.

Special certificates were given to children who regularly read on Seesaw at home. They deserve a huge well done. They have all gained lots and lots of green dojo’s for their house. Excellent! These children are making amazing progress with reading.

Ella brought in her medal for boxing. She attends a club every week. I am impressed. Well done Ella.

In English the children produced a lovely letter. Some children are now using paragraphs to organise their work.

Charlie sometimes needs thinking time so he uses ear defenders and putty. Evelyn from Year 3 has been using our Sensory Tent to reset and refocus her attention.

Our new boy is learning the value of numbers by counting the coloured pencils. His addition skills have improved every day.

Mia is now using a 100 square to check her numbers are written correctly.

Fantastic maths this week Mia.

Nilofar has been using an iPad to find the meaning of unfamiliar words.

In maths we were using subtraction with tricky columns with money.

Have a lovely break from school at half term.

School opens on Monday 31 October.
