Top Five Christmas Movies to Binge this Holiday Season by: Chase trigg

Similar to food, every family has a certain set of movies that they watch every winter. Different for everyone, but there is always overlap. A true Christmas classic is one that you can watch no matter how many times you've seen it and still laugh.

A little-known Christmas classic arrives at the number five spot on the top all-time list. Four Christmases displays Vince Vaughn and Reece Witherspoon having perfect chemistry in a movie that has you laughing from beginning to end. It is a story about a couple who travel each Christmas to avoid spending time with family, but this year, their holiday plans are canceled. They are forced to visit each of their parents individually on Christmas, and chaos ensues as the couple deals with the disaster.
Office Christmas Party, another movie that isn't widely regarded as a "classic" features Jason Bateman, T.J. Miller, Jennifer Anniston, and many more hilarious actors. The movie takes place in Chicago, where Jason Bateman is a recently divorced employee, trying to save his company with the CEO (T.J. Miller). A last-ditch pitch for a huge client leads to an out-of-control office Christmas party There are no lapses in laughter.
Widely regarded as one of the most iconic Christmas movies ever, Home Alone tells the well-known story of a boy whose family left for Europe and forgot him at home. He then has to fend off two burglars that have targeted his house as empty for the holidays. The reason this movie doesn't place higher is because you can't come back to it year after year. I could maybe watch it every other year, but the laughs aren't consistent as you watch it for the fourth and fifth time.
You simply can't go through the holiday season without watching Christmas Vacation. This is a comedic masterpiece by Chevy Chase, who absolutely carries this film. Not only that, but the best scenes are supported by brilliantly cast supporting roles, and each character fills their position perfectly. A hilarious story about a big family Christmas where everything goes terribly wrong. The true sign of a classic movie, I know almost every line, and it is still impossible not to laugh when they're delivered. Year after year, this movie delivers.
The most universally loved Christmas movie of all time is Elf, and there really is no debate. There are equal amounts of people dressed up as Buddy as there is Santa. Will Ferrell is the ideal actor to play the role of innocent elf, and his voice fits the character perfectly. This is another movie where the viewer knows when the funny lines are coming and it doesn't matter, this movie is undefeated.
