Roadrunners! We hope you all are finding ways to stay cool. July is hot and so is One Stop! You may have taken notice that our office is busy and wait times have picked up. Please rest assure that we are here to serve your enrollment needs and we will do it as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Many questions can be answered by using our available resources. To avoid wait times and to answer any common questions quickly, please check your emails, visit the One Stop webpage, and look closely at the FAQs that are within this newsletter.

This month and every month, we celebrate our One Stop Rising Stars, our One Stop Team, and our Customer Service Survey Winners! We invite you to stay in contact and share some kudos or ideas on what we can do better. Birds Up!

One Stop Rising Stars

  • Victoria Martinez-Victoria is one of our Student Workers here at One Stop! She started with us in October 2021 and has been a integral part of our team. Let's check out some information about Victoria and what her plans are in her future! "My favorite part about working for One Stop is assisting students who are interested in attending UTSA and the best part is hearing their excitement over the phone when I announce they have been admitted! My academic goal is to obtain my Degree in Psychology. I aspire to be a child psychologist; my professional goals are to work in an environment where I can help children, while becoming a better presenter and learning to improve my skills in networking."
  • Juan Avila- Juan is a One Stop Enrollment Counselor II here at the One Stop Enrollment Center. He has been here for 7 years! Let's hear from Juan on why he chose One Stop! "I am currently a One Stop Counselor II at the downtown location. I love that we are a tight-knit family here at One Stop, from my first day here to now, everyone has shown that they are passionate about serving the UTSA community. The staff are ready to help students in any way possible, and our student body creates a positive experience for everyone. From our One Stop counselors to our student workers, UTSA is eager and ready to show you what makes us unique. There are so many opportunities for students to connect with other people on campus. In the process, you will develop your own connection to the school which will help you as you work toward your goals. I tell students all the time: “get to know your professors and administrators, get involved, build those lasting relationships”. Our passion for this university and for what we do will automatically make you feel like you belong here."

July Dates

  • July 4th – Independence Day. University Closed
  • July 5th – Last Date of Classes for the F-term.
  • July 11th – Census Date and Payment Deadline, 5 p.m., for the S-term.
  • Last date to Drop an individual course and receive a grade of “W” for the 8-Term.
  • Last day of Classes for the J -Term
  • July 12th –Last date to Drop an individual course and receive a grade of “W” for the T-Term.
  • July 14th – Census Date and Payment Deadline, 5 p.m., for the L-term.
  • July 25th – Last date to Drop an individual course and receive a grade of “W” for the L-Term.
  • July 26th – Last date to Drop an individual course and receive a grade of “W” for the S-Term.

One Stop Renovation!

One Stop is UNDER CONSTRUCTION. We are so excited to see the transformation and how it will make servicing students more efficient and seamless. Your new One Stop will have all new technology, a student self service area, and a representative from Fiscal Service to assist with billing questions. This will be a state-of-the-art facility and a model One Stop for schools around the country. We should be in our new space by the middle of August. Take a look at the before pictures and the renderings of what’s to come. How exciting!!!

Notable FAQs

  • When is Fall Aid being disbursed? Financial aid for fall pays out August 12th overnight to the student bill. This means your financial aid will not be applied to your bill until after this date. Payment arrangements can be made through your Fiscal Service>Rowdy Pay area!
  • When will I get my advising appointment? After you complete orientation, within 1-2 weeks you will receive a link for an advising appointment. If you have questions please contact Advising. https://www.utsa.edu/advising/advisor/
  • When will my summer grades be posted to my account? Summer grades will not be posted until all summer courses are complete. Grades will be available in August.
  • What if I do not have enough financial aid to cover my bill? You can look at scholarships on our scholarship hub. Along with making payment arrangements. Here is the link for these: https://onestop.utsa.edu/financialaid/cost-of-attendance/paying-for-utsa/

One Stop Survey

The One Stop location in DT Campus was fast and easy. There was no waiting line and I was assisted immediately as a walk-in. The agent was able to help me submit financial paperwork and other additional forms. Overall, the service was excellent and quick. - Victoria G.
