From the Principal
Dear Hillendale Families,
I hope you have enjoyed a lovely spring break with family, friends, and beautiful weather! Thank you for your time and attention during our spring conferences just before break. This week ahead we look forward to our 5th grade field trip to Historic New Castle, a visit from the Brandywine Red Clay Alliance in 4th Grade, and Hillendale's second ever "Student Wellness Day" on Earth Day, Friday April 22nd! On this day we will fulfill our promise to Mr. Claypoole upon his retirement last year by planting a tree in his honor and enjoying a full school trail walk together before spending the day participating in staff created activities focused on physical, social, and environmental wellness.
As previously communicated, the PSSA will begin next week following the schedule listed below. We thank you in advance for your support of all our huskies during testing:
- ELA PSSA: 4/25 - 4/27 (3rd - 5th Grades)
- Math PSSA: 5/2 - 5/3 (3rd - 5th Grades)
- Science PSSA: 5/4 - 5/5 (4th Grade)
