We did it--and we're still going!

On Tuesday, we reached (exceeded, actually!) our goal of raising $15,000 for North PTO this February. This is a major milestone. Not only are we growing our PTO funds, we are generating excitement, community and engagement at North. Seeing this incredible generosity towards our kids and teachers is amazing.

But you can still help! Click here to donate online and join the 174 donors who have contributed so far. The fundraiser will stay open until February 28 (8 more days!) and every dollar we raise goes towards the current students. Once we fully fund Team Days and Freshman Farewell, any additional money will go towards Student Leadership, club requests, teacher appreciation, Viking Hut and assembly prizes, school community events and the annual 8th grade Outdoor Program. The more we raise, the more we can do. Forwarding the link to friends, family (grandparents love to support school activities!) and local businesses is another great way to help.

Our hearts are bursting, North Junior High community! Thank you so much for your generosity!

Mark your calendar for the MOD Pizza fundraiser coming up tomorrow, Tuesday, February 21. Use the code MODGIVES20 and North Junior High PTO will receive 20% of all in person, take-out, app or online orders at the downtown location. All proceeds will go towards The Big Give.

Thank you for all the ways you have supported the students and teachers at North this month!

• You generously donated to The Big Give to allow us to fund Team Days, Freshman Farewell and other projects that support students, teachers and the North community
• You filled all available spots on the sign-up sheet for every request AVID made for the Sweetheart Dance
• You brought bagels, yogurt, fruit, granola and juice for the Staff Appreciation Breakfast on Valentine's Day to let our teachers and staff know they're valued and appreciated
• More than 20 people attended or expressed interest in the Vino and Volunteers event where we shared more information about getting involved in PTO. A special thanks to North parent, Marcy French, and the Boise Co-op for hosting the event.

• Attend the next PTO meeting at 6:00 on Monday, March 6. (Meetings are generally held the first Monday of the month in the North cafeteria.)
• Staff Appreciation Lunch on Tuesday, March 14. It's Pie Day! Sign up coming soon.

Mark your calendars for the Boise High Auction. The event is on Saturday March 4, from 5:00 - 9:00 p.m. at the Stueckle Sky Center, Boise State University. For more information and tickets, click here.
