Welcome to AOYS Meal Planning Made Easy.
We make 1000's of decisions each day and what we are going to eat accounts for some of our, most anxious moments. Whether you are a busy mom, work crazy hours or are just overwhelmed by the idea of eating healthy this class is meant to make your life easier and cut you daily decisions down.
1st Step Know what you have. Go through the freezer, pantry and refrigerator and make a list of what you have. This will save you so much money when you are planning for meals.
Having the right items in the kitchen will help make you successful.
There are options here: Have a legal pad, a list on your phone, a calendar to plan out specifics. I suggest you get your family involved ask for menu ideas. When I go to restaurants I get ideas from menus so I can make them at home and healthier. Whether you make a weekly menu or a monthly having a daily cuisine makes it even easier.
Cuisine Ideas: Italian, Mexican, American, Breakfast, Chinese, Asian, Thai, Greek, Indian, Japanese.
Ingredient Ideas: Beef, Chicken, Fish, Vegetarian, Pork, Burgers, Pizza, Soup, Sandwich, Salad, Potatoes, Eggs.
Appliance Ideas: Instapot, Crockpot, Bar B Q, Rfigerator (left Over) Oven, Air Fryer.
And Don't forget to put Dine out on the list.
Pinterest, Skinnytaste, Hungry Girl are all great places to look for recipes. Finding good cookbooks can be a great place to get ideas. Some of my favorites are Skinny Taste and the 14 day Mediterranean Diet plan is a great jumpstart into clean eating.
