Our Vision
To inspire young minds to expand their educational horizons and career aspirations.
Our Mission
- Developing problem solving skills and increasing educational interest beyond the classroom environment.
- Inspiring young minds through conversations and personal experience.
- Motivating learners to prioritise and value their education in the classroom to reach their potential.
Our Focus
Technology is rapidly advancing and the gap between employment demands and education is growing each year. As schools begin introducing robotics courses into their school curriculums to bridge this gap - not all school learners are fortunate enough to experience such an opportunity. Therefore we aim to develop, inspire, and educate these young minds.
The robotics course aims to improve cognitive, tactile and computer literacy abilities through weekly 45 minute sessions with the learners from Devon Valley Primary School. The course will not only lead to learner development, but also inspire them to pursue degrees and careers in the STEAM fields. As volunteers you will stimulate conversations around your educational experiences, career choices and your interests. As volunteers your role is twofold – to teach learners the robotics curriculum and inspire them to pursue their career aspirations.
There is evidence of learner mark improvements associated with similar course participation. This is attributed to the course material stimulating and motivating learners to work hard across all their classroom subjects to pursue their career dreams in the long run.

What to expect as a volunteer
Some of our volunteers
Keen To Inspire With Us?
We are in need of volunteers to expand the program to accommodate more learners at the school. If you are passionate about helping young learners – pushing them to be creative and innovative, you are the perfect person for the task. We are not expecting engineers or rocket scientists, all we need are passionate and committed volunteers. The training and logistics will be managed from our side.
If you can give 1.5 hours of your time per week (14h00 to 15h30) for the robotic course, then we want to partner you with another volunteer and group you with a pair of young learners. You will ideally meet with the same pair of learners, each week, to aid in cultivating a meaningful relationship with them.
If you are interested please click on the link at the top of the page so that we can capture your details. Note that filling out the sign-up does not imply that you are committing to the project, but rather for us to share more information with you.
