Please explain idea of your project and which problem in real life it can solve?

The existing Internet protocol suite provides end-to-end data communication specifying how data should be packetized, addressed, transmitted, routed, and received. However, it does not specify how data should be used. They become exposed and abused, easily bought and sold between any third-party. The world needs a new internet protocol of smarter data that remembers, knows when to keep a secret, learns from its users, and more. COVA is this new internet protocol. With the new COVA internet protocol, the owner of a data package can compose a data usage policy that specifies the data’s expected behavior. The COVA internet protocol will make sure that the policy is enforced by code. We call this machine-enforceable data usage policy a “Smart Policy”. The COVA internet protocol is composed of 3 core components: Centrifuge, CovaVM and TEE. Centrifuge is COVA’s new programming language that writes data usage policies with code. Think of it as a new Ethereum Solidity with a different use case. CovaVM and TEE are COVA’s new execution environment that enforces what is written by Centrifuge. Think of it as a new Ethereum Virtual Machine with a different use case.

• that my credit card number may only be used once for a one-time charge. It will be erased from the server after the payment is completed.
• that my password is salted and hashed before being persisted to a database.
• that these text messages can only be viewed after tonight.
• that this ebook can only be shared 15 times.
• that k-anonymity or differential privacy is applied before my data can be used.
• that only specific open-source libraries can be used to process my data.
• that an ad or disclaimer has to be viewed before my content can be seen.

Economic of tokens. How token will be used and why people will need your tokens?

COVA token will be used to incentivize the creation of a network of TEE nodes which provides us with a scalable amount of "trusted" computing power. Having this "trusted" computing power allows us to make the important assumption about the program behavior of important "supervisor" programs. With this assumption, a much wider repertoire of tools for policy definition and enforcement becomes available to the upper layer.

The internet is only as smart as the data that it carries. Right now, data is mindless, exposed, and abused. Imagine a new internet composed of Smart Data that remembers, keeps a secret, learns from its users, is open for good.

What are your advantages compare with the competitors and why your algorithm is better?

COVA is the first to provide a “Software” plus “Hardware” solution to achieve our goal. The similar projects are using only hardware (e.g. TEE) or only software (e.g. MPC, ZKP). We provide a more practical and more secure way for people to use data.

Which projects are your competitors and who do you think the strongest one?

We don’t have a direct competitor at this time. COVA is a new internet protocol and we are trying to build a new internet defining how data are utilized.

How long did you work under the Project and how long the team is working with each other?

The founding team has been working on this project for more than 6 months. The current 10-person tech team started after we got our first funding. They have been working for more than 2 months.

How many code-developers will make CODE?

COVA has 8 developers that will make code.

Roadmap. What is going on? Are you in frames of Roadmap or faster or later than this? Do you have exact results which can be shown as a success?

Regarding our token, we have closed private sale, and preparing for a public sale and exchange listing. Technical side, COVA released the private testnet at the beginning of August. Our team is pushing to deliver public testnet. The roadmap will be like this:

• 2018 Q1 Q2: Private Testnet is Released. Public Demo is Released.Important Repos are Open-Sourced. CovaClave, CovaCore, CS2, Secure Models, CovaChain.
• 2018 Q3 Q4: Release Public Testnet. Release Centrifuge.Release CovaVM. Significant progress towards the new TCP/IP Vision

Which problems have you bumped up in your job on the Project? Can you describe example?

Hiring the best technical people took a lot of efforts to accomplish. We really exchausted our network, going as far back as middle school, to dig up the smartest people that we know.

If during the job you are bumping up with the insurmountable obstacles, what will you do? Do you have PlanB?

Plan B is to hire your normal google, facebook engineers. Just need to get them out of their cushy jobs.

If during the work your team will find much more perspective solution, who will be different from the previous idea of the Project, what will you do?

Do whatever is right for the technical development of the blockchain technology as a whole. First rule of startup: Pivots are good and should happen fast.

Do you have marketing plan of promotion project/product when it is ready?

Sure. Now we try to partner up with several large developer communities and will do campaigns on these channels when our project (i.e. testnet, mainnet) is ready.

What actions do you plan to involve huge amounts of new users and push them use your product instead of Centralized competitors?

In the beginning we will establish partnership with large companies to develop dApps on COVA platform so that we will involve a large number of new users. Now the partnership with one of the largest medical groups in China and a leading fintech company are under discussion.

How do plan to organize interactions with your main investors (VC)? Will they control RoadMap weekly, for example, or helping to some other things daily? I mean not in Financial or Investing way.

Our investors will help us on many aspects such as media resources, community management, business development, etc. And we will show them our progress at least weekly.

Why do you think, so strong investors (VC) are investing to the Project, and why they choose you?

We got investment from more than 20 institutional investors including FBG Capital, Huobi Capital, Kenetic, etc. We shared the same vision on the crypto market, and they thought that with our team background COVA will bring much value to the crypto world.

What do you personally think of the development of the total Cryptomarket?

The crypto market is still on an early stage, but we think in the near future there will be more blockchain based applications and the market will develop in a more healthy way.

How ETHEREUM will develop in your opinion and what is their future?

We view Ethereum as the crib for public blockchains. We are high hopes for its scalability promises. But even if they don’t deliver, their technical community is extremely valuable in itself, and someone in that community is likely to lead the next evolvement.

Which Blockchain is the most perspective in your point of view and why do you think so?

The most technical publicchains are prob Ethereum, Zilliqa, Cardano.

Try to predict the future: will it be a lot of Blockchains or just two-three or only ONE Strongest blockchain?

Two possibilities. Either a strong transaction focused blockchain and a bunch of protocol plugins. Or interoperability is figured out and we have a few more transaction blockchains that are slightly different.

Which Cryptoprojects is the most perspective in your point of view and and which do your believe for the future?

We think Web3 projects are more technically interesting. Stablecoin and Oracle projects have more interesting use-cases.

Which features of the projects are the most important to win in long-term point of view?

Good vision, strong technical core, fanatical community, and a dash of luck.

Which changes do you think will happen in the 3-5 years in everyday life of usual people? What Crypto and Blockchain will bring to their life?

Society will build its trust on Blockchain. People can trust everything on blockchain based applications. For example, with COVA protocol, the customer can trust a third party that will use his data in the way defined in the term of services.

Do you think that after some time, every person will use Crypto and Blockchain, like now everybody using Personal Computer or Smartphone? Why do you think so?

Sure. The shortcomings of the centralized applications (e.g. data leakage, censorship) are obvious and that’s why we need blockchain. Since blockchain is a fundamental infrastructure, it will enter everyone’s daily life for sure.

Satoshi Nakamoto, founder of Bitcoin; Vitalik Buterin, founder of Ethereum; Eli Ben-Sasson, cofounder of ZCash and Starkware; Changpeng Zhao, founder of Binance; Vincent Zhou, founder of FBG Capital. Vincent is our investor, so I know him personally. For others above, I know them only by interview or articles.

What's missing in Cryptoindustry for the big money to come from the biggest investors (like Buffet, Wall Street and so on) all over the world?

Regulations. Comprehensive regulations on Crypto industry should be set up, and then the big money from those biggest investors can come in.

What's missing in Cryptoindustry for the total acceptance of all people in the world? What should happen with Cryptoproducts to be widely used by the most of people in the world?

Currently there is no real blockchain based application and we are stilling building infrastructures. One day if there is a killer dApp entering the market, then most people will accept crypto or blockchain.

Don’t you think, that current HardCap’s of the projects are too high?

There is bubble in crypto world now. But it could be good for an early-stage industry.
