Moss! It may look nice but it is no friend to your roof tiles!

Moss; a cause of premature tile/roof degradation.

Moss and lichens on your roof do cause the surface to retain water and to deteriorate quicker. With the cold weather ‘freeze/thaw’ of moss on your roof leads to cracked tiles and delamination due to the moss retaining moisture.
