Content Info For The Week

• ELA (Hamby /Purdy): Students will start Unit 1: What's the Story? This week the focus will be on Narrative Story Elements.
• Read 180 (Hamby/Purdy): Students will continue working on our Mindset Matters unit. We will work on getting logged into the computer app and setting routines for our independent reading component.
• Math (McClure & McDonald): We will continue working on our statistics unit. We will focus on being able to read box plots and determine mean absolute deviation.
• Science (Simmons): Students will continue to analyze the theory of the creation of our solar system and position of our Earth on order to compare with previous explanations. Our first quiz is coming up Friday.
• Social Studies (Waddell): In social studies this week, students will start their autobiography map projects. Students also worked on a packet practicing map skills that will be due by Friday (Aug 18) if they didn't finish it in class this past Friday.
