Birds in Paradise Series by Summer Alireza

This series of paintings is inspired by the ‘Chinois’ style of the 18th century wallpaper imported from the East that adorned many European drawing rooms. The beguiling realism and symbolic language of the bird-and-flower imagery is recaptured in a unique style, blending bold textures and effervescent colors adaptable to our modern interior decor.
About Summer:

U.A.E based artist, Summer Alireza, has been painting since the age of six and has held several Art Exhibitions in the past. She graduated from Central Saint Martins with an Honors degree in Product Design. Her work combines her love for design and the mixed media flare of painting.
