Renata “Noot” Seear is a professional model and chef living in New York City. Her career was launched as an exclusive Calvin Klein model walking the S/S '99 show as well as appearing in the iconic CK1 fragrance campaign. She then went on to walk the runways around the world for Lanvin, Balenciaga, Alexander McQueen, Givenchy and Chanel to name a few.
Noot has been featured in numerous ad campaigns including Tory Burch, Coach, Hugo Boss, Esprit, Diesel and, most recently, Tiffany & Co.
THE ROAD TO BECOMING A CHEF AND THE BIRTH OF "NOOTRITIOUS"
Like many models, Noot felt the intense pressures for her body to look a certain way and she’s an open book about her past journeys down unhealthy paths to try to fit those industry standards. True to form as the hard worker that she is, Noot conquered these demons by educating herself about food and nutrition, and became a chef. She studied culinary arts and received degrees from both the Academy of Culinary Education in Los Angeles and the Institute of Culinary Education in New York City (with a concentration in plant-based cuisine). As part of her education, Noot interned with the famed Ayurvedic Chef Divya Altar.
All while continuing her modeling career, Noot works as a chef putting on private events and has developed the brand “Nootritious” through which she gives talks and creates online content related to self-empowerment, nutrition and cooking.
GIVING BACK
Noot has a long history of charity and giving back. She is an avid surfer focused on environmental causes, and has served as a founder and long- time sponsor of Rose Charities, which provides direct support to various causes in developing nations.
