Dear University community,
It’s the first day of Summer Sessions I and III! For those new to our campus, WELCOME! For those returning, we’re glad you’re back.
- You may also notice some much younger faces on campus for part of this summer. They are participants in a variety of Summer Camp programs hosted by the University. This is also the first time some have been on a University campus, so please be generous with your patience. They could be your future Dustdevils!
- Before beginning the Fall 2023 semester at TAMIU, incoming freshman and transfer students participate in Dusty Camp. This two-day student orientation experience prepares students for their first semester at the University with guidance regarding campus services, academic expectations, and a first-hand experience of student life. Learn more about Dusty Camp here.
Registration for Summer and Fall 2023 is now underway.
- If you have need for a free COVID-19 Testing Kit, you can pick them up at the following locations: the offices of Student Health and lobby/reception areas in Environmental Health and Safety (inside our Physical Plant) and the University Police Department.
Have a great week, Dustdevils!
- Pablo Arenaz, Ph.D., President
TAMIU Summer Sessions I & III Begin Today
With compressed time schedules, Summer Sessions often offer a streamlined way for students to accelerate, begin or resume undergraduate or graduate degree plans. This can be especially attractive to students home for the summer from other university campuses.
