Thank you to everyone who supported our MacMillan Coffee Morning today. It was lovely to see so many parents and friends of the school enjoying a drink, a cake and a chat in our school hall this morning.
I would to thank everyone for their kind donations of cakes for MacMillian and also to the Friends of Minera for helping to serve coffee and cake this morning. We raised £140 - diolch.
Safe
An important part of keeping safe is learning how to manage risks; Blwyddyn 1 a 2 have been doing exactly that this week with their new monkey bars!

We value our children's ideas, opinions and creativity. Today, we celebrated all of the children who made it into the Golden Book this week during our Celebration Worship.

Harvest Service - Thursday 6th October
Our Harvest Service will take place on Thursday 6th October at St Mary’s Church, starting at 10am
This year, we ask for donations of non-perishable food that will be donated to the Wrexham Foodbank, a very worthy cause. We hope you can join us at St Mary’s Church in Minera for our Harvest Service.

Tempest Photographs - Wednesday 12th October
The School Photographs will now take place on Wednesday 12th October. Tempest Photography will be visiting school to take the annual individual pictures.
Year 5 and 6 Class Service
We would like invite parents, family and friends to the Year 5 and 6 Class Service on Friday 14th October at 9:30am. Everyone welcome!
Open Evening -Tuesday 25th October
On Tuesday 25th October , we will be holding an open evening between 3:15pm and 5:30pm for parents/carers of children in Year 3, 4, 5 and 6. This is an informal invitation for you and your child to visit school, to meet your child’s class teacher and to look through your child's work. No appointments are necessary on this occasion. We will be holding a more formal parents evening during the Spring Term
Parents/carers with children in Nusery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 will be invited during the term to meet your child's class teacher and look through your child's work. Foundation Phase staff have already written to everyone with the arrangements.
