Lynn NFT Museum Lynn University

NFT museum presented by Lynn University

Lynn University is ranked by U.S. News and World Report among the nation’s most innovative and international universities due to its unique learning models and diverse community of students from more than 100 countries.

At the forefront of digital technology trends, the university’s Eugene M. and Christine E. Lynn College of Communication and Design is one of the first in the country to create a non-fungible token (NFT) museum. NFT refers to tokenizing digital art through crypto platforms—a process that allows artists to authenticate their original digital works.

Lynn’s NFT art collection will be on display in several locations globally, featuring one-of-a-kind originals from notable and up-and-coming artists and curators who are transforming how art is bought, sold and traded through this breakthrough technology.

Through its NFT Museum, Lynn seeks to illustrate how artists, curators, and storytellers can use crypto platforms to showcase their talent, vision and potential on a global scale. It also provides a real-world demonstration of how emerging technologies create paradigm shifts that disrupt traditional business models and create growth opportunities in business, science, law, music, art, design, gaming, communication and education.

Disrupting borders.

Latin art In the Metaverse

Latinamerican art has traditionally been conditioned by its peripherical situation and its relationship with the Western art centers. The decentralization offered by the Internet and blockchain technology allows geographic and political borders not to limit the creative potential, the positioning of artists, and the union of individuals. It is in the interest of this exhibition to showcase a group of artists who are representative of the digital revolution of Latin art in its most varied expressions: photography, digital painting, drawing, 3d Art, animation, performance, music, poetry, architecture, and illustration. Disrupting borders intends to show the strength and potential of these new technologies for art through the diversity of proposals, interests, and contexts from which Latinamerican NFT art is produced.
