Saint Sebastian was born in Narbonne, Gaul c. 256 AD. He died January 20 287 AD.

He is a patron of soldiers, athletes, and those who desire a saintly death

Interesting Facts: 1. Emperor Diocletian order him to die from being tied to a stake and used for target practice. 2. His body was filled with arrows, the shooters thought he was dead and left his body in a field. 3. He was buried in catacombs under Rome secretly by a women named Lucina. 4. According to historical records, he defended the city of Rome against the plague in 680. 5. He joined the Roman army in the year 283

Prayer: Dear Saint Sebastian please help me succeed in my sports and allow me to preform at my fullest potential. Please protect me from injuries on and off the field. Also, please allow the soldiers fighting for our country to return home safe and unharmed
