Catholic Schools Week!!

Ireland flag and Catherine

Monday-Ireland

The day started off with an assembly, and a trivia game where contestants were picked to answer questions about other countries. In the end both seniors and freshmen tied, both losing the tiebreaker question. At the end of the assembly everyone got together and did an old fashioned Irish dance.

Tuesday - Honduras

Students got to participate in coloring the flags of the week and if picked got a candy prize. The famous, “Pack the House,” night and the soup/chili cookoff was a hit. Mrs. Vankat and Mr. Riesberg tied in the end.

Students and Faculty

Wednesday - Jamaica

During the day Bob Marley and other reggae artists were piercing through the speakers during passing periods. This was also the kick off to Black History Month.

Prayer service

Thursday - Australia

Don’t be mistaken by the American and Australian flags, they may have the exact same colors, but each have different designs. This day had a prayer service with no shortage in singing by Hannah Keisling.

Friday - Mercy, Omaha

The start of the day was regular until students' eighth hour class was over. All students gathered in the dinning hall to eat a pancake lunch then reported to the gym to find out what they will be doing, a scavenger hunt. Students went to different “countries,” solving clues, and working together as a team. The day ended early, getting a little extension to the weekend.
