The Pablobiennial is a continuous project held every other year. Within the Central European primary art education, such a project is something exceptional.
This original polyekran presentation of the pupils’ fine art works and the teachers’ methodological concepts lasts 4 months and is enriched with the ceremonial vernissage accompanied by music and the fashion show presenting textile functional works, and by a kind of classy catering for the children and their parents.
The Pablobiennial is remarkable because of its scope (500-700 fine art works) and its exacting installation. It is the final formal output, the top event representing the quality of the school.
Our Aim
The Pablobiennial is an event where (after a 2-year process) the children can introduce their fine art works to their parents and public
The Pablobiennial and its contribution for the pupils:
- shaping their attitudes to themselves, to other people and their reactions
- reaching for their own limits and even surpassing them within the fine art process
- appreciation encourages and motivates children to another activity and great performance
- children can see the point of their activity, and they become permanent pupils of the school
The Pablobiennial and its contribution for the parents and public:
- positive atmosphere
- active and warm interest of the parents in their children’s works
- surprisingly enchanted public
- humanisation of the environment
- proactive communication
- community building
