Puerto Rico is in a state of crisis. Less than two weeks after Hurricane Irma made landfall on the Island, Puerto Rico was hit by Hurricane Maria. Mass flooding, destruction, plus drinking water and food shortages have put millions of American Families through the Island at risk.

This is the worst hurricane in a century and the rebuilding will be a tremendously difficult undertaking.

We invite the International Dragon Boat Community, their families and friends to join efforts with Fundación Comunitaria de Puerto Rico through its Puerto Rico Community Recovery Fund. Fundación Comunitaria de Puerto Rico is an organization in Puerto Rico that would mobilize local and international resources to channel them through donations to community and non-profit organizations in Puerto Rico.

“We want to help the people that are helping. We want to facilitate the access to medicines, medical equipment, food, water and other essential needs. The organizations are our assessment arm and our intervention arm, they are rooted in these communities.”, mentioned Dr. Nelson I. Colón, President and CEO of the Puerto Rico Community Foundation.

We, the Dragon Boat Community, our families, and friends are known for Giving Back to The Community and this is why we are asking for your donations to help our families in Puerto Rico. Your cash donation will be routed to where it's needed the most more quickly.
