Jubilee Party Information
We are excited to be holding our Jubilee celebration party (weather permitting) next Friday. I thought that it might be useful to clarify a few details.
- All pupils will go home at 12:00 to allow staff time to set up for the afternoon. If you require essential childcare, please call the school office by 15:00 on Monday. We are aiming to keep this to an absolute minimum.
- Entry is free for everyone. £5 purchases children unlimited turns on the numerous fair ground rides.
- Food, including pizza, hot dogs and sweets will be for sale at low costs.
- Several classes are arranging for games to be played.
- The entire community is welcome, but under 18s must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
- No alcohol can be consumed on site.
- We have two aims: for pupils to have fun celebrating an important date as well as attempting to raise some money to support school funds. We are very aware that current inflation rates are impacting everyone and we will ensure that all stalls are reasonably priced.
Hot Weather - Sun Lotion
Reminder -when hot weather is forecast it is important that pupils attend school with a sun hat and wearing sun lotion. We are unable to apply sun lotion in school.
Instagram to go live!
We are always attempting to improve our communication with parents and our ability to share the fantastic learning that our pupils have completed. We will continue to use Twitter as an established educational platform, but also introduce the use of Instagram. All posts will be duplicated. We will use our social media consent forms to begin using our account during the next few weeks. If you have any concerns about Instagram, please contact the school.
Information from Empathy Lab - Parent Survey
Hello! We are working with your child's school to help develop pupils' empathy skills both inside and outside the classroom.
We would very much appreicate it if you could answer the follow series of short questions to assist us in establishing what the impact of the project has been over time.
We will send you an identical survey in July 2023 to see if there has been any change in opinion over time.
Many thanks
The EmpathyLab Team
Long Course Weekend Kinder run (LCKINDER) - Friday July 1st 2022
Over the weekend of 1-3 July 2022 Tenby plays host to the biggest multisport festival in Europe – The infamous Long Course Weekend.
To open the weekend’s events children aged 4-11 years are invited to take part in their very own amazing event tackling a surf run and then a run across Tenby North beach before finishing to the cheers of the huge crowds at the finish line! The event begins at 4:30pm in Tenby and can be entered through the Long Course Weekend website or by following the link below.
Parents/carers will need to enter on behalf of their children but staff members from school will be in attendance to cheer you on.
This is a fantastic sporting event for youngsters and one that Pembrokeshire is very proud to host; It would be amazing to see as many of our JCPS sporting superstars taking part. If you have any questions don’t hesitate to contact school.
Win £30!
During the Summer Term each year, we ask parents to complete a survey on the progress which they feel the school is making. We appreciate honest, constructive feedback and we are willing to accept criticism if if supports us to move the school forwards and identify areas which need improving. We will compare the results with last year's to judge our progress in any areas of deficit. We appreciate the time taken to complete the form.
This link will be live for the next four weeks. We will select the winner by generating a random number and the winner will be contacted on the afternoon of 27th May.
