MILESTONE MOMENTS READ MORE

It was an exciting year at Severn School! We were finally able to all be together again in the classroom, on the athletic field, and on stage. From an exciting Spirit Week and Homecoming, to amazing musical productions, and a record number of Severn athletic teams taking home trophies, it was a great year to be an Admiral. We are so proud of the entire Severn community for coming together and showing their support for each other all year long. To our promoted classes of 2034, 2029, and 2026, we look forward to seeing you in the fall! And to the Class of 2022, congratulations! You will be missed on campus, and you will always have a home at Severn School.

BACK IN ACTION AT THE LOWER SCHOOL

We were excited to resume all activities at our Lower School this year! Students were able to learn inside and outside of the classroom all year long, and continued to build their character with the help of their classmates and incredible teachers.

THE BIG MOVE TO MIDDLE SCHOOL

5th grade promotion was held on Teel Campus again this year, enabling all family and friends to see our 5th graders become middle schoolers! Each student gave a wonderful personal speech, touching on courage, perseverance, friendship, and their excitement about moving up to a new campus. We look forward to seeing you in the fall!

To our incredible faculty and staff...you clearly put students at the center and at the heart of what you do each day. You continue to show your commitment to teaching and learning and knowing and valuing each student. - Lower School Head, Cathy North

MIDDLE SCHOOL MAKING WAVES

The class of 2026 gathered one last time as 8th graders for their promotion to the Upper School! They officially became freshman, and Class President Jemere Branch spoke about their closeness as a class that will help with their transition as they move to the Upper School in the fall.

A FINAL FAREWELL TO OUR SENIOR CLASS

After enduring 2+ years of a pandemic, virtual classes, and masks in the middle of their high school experience, it was only fitting that the seniors were given a beautiful evening for their graduation ceremony on campus. Head of School Doug Lagarde spoke of the unique bond forged among the Class of 2022, and how they will be able to take their experiences with them out into the world beyond Severn School. Congratulations again to the Class of 2022!
