EAGLE AWARD WINNERS
This year we are celebrating students who demonstrate our SOAR ( safety, open-mindedness, A+ attitude, respect) expectations around campus. Staff are able to nominate students weekly who exemplify strong character and academic excellence. Students who are nominated will receive a certificate honoring this accomplishment as well as a prize. Congratulations to the winners from last week who received a gift certificate from Cherry on Top. Join me in congratulating David, Logan, Tyler, Lucy, Cora, and Connor. Way to go Eagles!
AMAZING STAFF AT LMES
Congratulations to our Teacher of the Year Representative, Mrs. Colleen Neiman. Mrs. Neiman is an asset to our fifth grade team as she teaches all of our fifth grade students math and social studies. Her students say that her lessons are creative, informative, and fun. We are lucky to have Mrs. Neiman here at Lone Mountain!

By joining the PTO you will have a say in future PTO elections and vote on important items to enhance your student’s educational journey at LMES. By registering on the website, you are not committing to anything other than being in the “know” on all things PTO at our school. Please consider joining our LMES PTO!
PTO UPCOMING ELECTIONS
Per the bylaws, elections for the Executive Board of the PTO are held in March. Are you interested in joining the E-board? If so, please contact Principal Hill (ehill@ccusd93.net) who will be serving as our Election official.
Positions include:
President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Communications Director & Volunteer Coordinator. President and VP can only be held by someone who has been a member of PTO for 2 or more years. The remaining positions can be held by someone who has been a member for one or more years. Each position can be shared by no more than 2 individuals.
E-Board members are expected to attend monthly executive meetings, as well as the monthly general meeting and otherwise be available to help with the myriad events hosted by the school and PTO both during and after school hours. Additional information about each position can be found on pages 2 & 3 of the bylaws. PTO bylaws are on our PTO webpage.

UPCOMING PTO SUPPORT NEEDED- SILENT AUCTION
Lone Mountain Families,
With our annual online auction fast approaching our PTO is looking for your help. If you personally have anything to donate to our school auction or know someone who does, please reach out. We have had items in the past from season tickets to a sporting event, gift cards to restaurants, jewelry, gym memberships etc... No item is too big or too small. Attached is an "ask letter" given to companies for tax purposes. This should be the only information needed to collect donations.
