WELCOME TO THE NEW SCHOOL YEAR

Dear Lone Mountain Families,

Welcome to the 2022-23 school year. I am beyond excited that on Monday, August 1st we will get to welcome students back to our campus. Teachers are returning these next two weeks and will be putting together their classrooms and getting prepared for a wonderful year of learning. Our front office staff returned today and our office hours are from 7:30 AM-3:30 PM.

As we transition to a new student information system (PowerSchool) I appreciate your patience as we get all of our students enrolled, placed, and finalized for the upcoming school year. Ms. Jessica and Ms. Sydney, our amazing front office staff, are processing student records as fast as they can. Students/Parents will be notified of class placement for the upcoming year via an email from their new teacher. You should receive an email from your child's new teacher on Wednesday 7/27 after 5PM.

This is going to be a great year and I look forward to meeting and working with you and your children this year. I am committed to the vision of inspiring our Lone Mountain students to use their individual strengths, curiosity, and imagination to solve problems as they leave a positive impact on our community and the world. I look forward to continuing to shape our STEAM program, develop high quality classrooms, and help our Eagles SOAR to Success.

MEET THE TEACHER- JULY 28TH

Meet the teacher at LMES is on July 28th from 4:30-6:30. This night will look a little different this year as times are staggered to ensure parking and we want each family to have time to learn a little bit about each classroom and the learning for the year. This evening is a great opportunity to meet your child's teachers , bring school supplies, learn about your child's classroom, receive information about our PTO, and tour the campus. We look forward to seeing you at this event!

4:30-5:15, Grades K-3 Meet the Teacher and Drop off Supplies
5:15- 5:40, Grades K-3 Classroom and Curriculum Overview for grades K- 3 in classrooms
5:30-6:15, Grades 4-6 Meet the Teacher and Drop off Supplies
6:15-6:40, Grades 4-6 Classroom and Curriculum Overview for grades 4-6 in classrooms

If you are unable to attend this event, please know that we will have videos of any presentations as well as any handouts and provide those to you.
