In 1892, John B. Plattner opened a General Store in this building

John B. Plattner sold dry goods, overcoats, boots, hats, furnishings, and notions. He placed large advertisements every week in the Delano Eagle, touting his “Fine Goods and Low Prices.” His headlines urged...

“I’m doing business with you because I have just exactly what you want and my prices are simply irresistible.”

1913: The building was sold to Wm. Picus. He operated the business until 1920. The upper floor was the Dental Office of Dr. Charles Parker.

In 1940 Warhol's Rexall Drug Store occupied the building.

It featured a 30 foot soda fountain bar made of primavera wood, from central america.

It became the Brown Plumbing business and 1987 home to Dave's Town Club
