The Water Cycle By: Eric Raduzycki

The water cycle is the continuous movement of water on, below, or above Earth.

The first step is EVAPORATION. This where water on the Earth's surface is heated and goes up into the atmosphere as water vapors.

The next step is CONDENSATION. After the water has evaporated and turned into water vapor in the atmosphere, the water vapor turns into particles that come together to form clouds in the sky or fog.

After condensation the next main step is PRECIPITATION. This is where the particles in the clouds fall down as either rain, snow, sleet, or hail. This happens when there is a temperature change or from wind.

After precipitation is where COLLECTION happens. During the collection process, precipitation falls back to Earth in oceans, lakes, rivers, or goes into the ground and soaks in for plants.

After all of these steps have happened, the cycle start all over again.
