Summer Term has got off to a fantastic start. The children have shown how amazing they are, continuing to show that they can adapt to anything that is thrown their way and have shown that they have real grit, determination and aspirations to always want to achieve their very best. They have all got back into the rhythm of the 'normal' school day and are showing that they are as resilient as ever.

It has also been a joy to see the pride in their work and the excitement of trying new things at play times, as we continue on our OPAL journey. When we come back after half term there is plenty more of all still to come!

Thank you all once again for all your support as we continue to go about the day to day of educating and nurturing all the children of Galley Hill, giving them as many possibilities as possible and ensuring that their wellbeing is at the centre of all that we do.

School life

Nursery have been retelling some amazing stories:

Reception have been innovating poems about feelings this week.

Y3 were detectives this week. Someone came and had a sleepover in to their classroom and stole some of their books. Luckily, they left lots of clues so they could figure out who it was. It was Mr Stink! They had a fantastic morning!

wraparound

If you require wraparound provision after half term please email wraparound@galleyhillprimary.co.uk to book your place for breakfast and afterschool provision.

Finally

As we end this half term and get ready for the last half term, we are hoping that we can start to offer more of the wider experiences that we are bursting to offer. After school clubs will start back up again, whilst ensuring we stay in bubbles to ensure we constantly limit any cross contact of year groups, ensuring we follow the current Public Health and DFE guidance.

As we finish today, we look forward to welcoming you all back on Monday 7th June. All procedures of staggered starts and end of the day will remain in place until the end of the academic year

Have a fantastic half term, stay safe and take care.
