MISSION
The Rainbow Mirror Project was created to spread self love and empower people to create a more compassionate world. When we look at ourselves in the mirror we tend to beat ourselves up, The Rainbow Mirror serves as a reminder to see ourselves, appreciate who we are and fall in love with the person staring back at us. When we find love within ourselves, we are drawn to our purpose, we align with it and we live by it. We are brave. We are courageous. This has a domino effect on the world and the people around us, empowering all to be themselves. To achieve these goals The Rainbow Mirror Project, engages with the community appearing at events and festivals, spreads the message and meaning of self love and provides resources for self help online and offline.

STORY
The story of the mirror is a magical one. I think of it more of how it found me rather than how I found it. I was living in Santa Monica, CA when someone in my building decided to throw it away. I saw it before I left for work and even though I was drawn to it, I didn't feel like I needed it so I left it there. When I came home that day, my roommate asked me if I had seen it, and went down and carried it up for me. So, there I was with this giant mirror in my small apartment with no idea what it was to become. It sat in our apartment for 3-4 weeks, until one day the idea popped into my head. I was overwhelmed with the idea and knew it was so much bigger than myself. That day I brainstormed ideas, created the Instagram account and bought the domain name. At the time, I didn't really have an idea of what it would look like, that came with time, all I knew was this project was something I had to do.
