Global Warming A source suffocating our earth

Climate change, which is also known as global warming, is the long term-heating of the Earth’s surface, it occurs when carbon dioxide (CO2) and other air pollutants collect in the atmosphere. Climate change is when the sun’s heat travels through the ozone layer but yet cannot get back out because of the greenhouse gases.

We must not carry on doing this!

Although bushfires have been around a long time, global warming is making them worse and worse by the day. It isn’t getting better either, as the Earth is just getting warmer and it’s affecting our forests, trees and any other greenery. Bushfires are getting more popular by the day because of heatwaves, global warming, wind speed and humanity. Not only is it affecting the Earth but animals, humans, oxygen levels and people’s homes, which is really unlucky because insurance is currently rising in Australia specifically.

Flooding can be disastrous to many peoples homes: too much rainwater can cause serious problems causing rivers to overflow and flood the surrounding areas. This isn’t going to end if we don’t end it! From injuries to health issues, deaths and more. The effects of flooding on health are extensive and significant, ranging from death from drowning and injuries from accidents, to infectious diseases and mental health problems.

The more cars and vehicles that are made, the more gas that is in the air, the more ice that melts and the more we lose the royalty of ice and the polar bears. Polar bears depend on sea ice for their existence and are directly impacted by climate change. By 2024, scientists predict that only sea ice will remain which means we will lose these beautiful, breathtaking animals.

If we stop using cars and use public transport; if we throw away our waste; if we turn off our electrics, then maybe we can reduce climate change.🌎
