Chi Chuku is a Canadian-based Rap and RnB Fusion artist. Chi has been busy consistently dropping music since his first release. In 2019, he dropped Riches (Single) and 19 (Single), in 2020, he released Gemini (Single), and in 2021 he released All for Me (Single), Loveless Hearts (EP) and Demons (Single).
Chi’s music is heavily influenced and inspired by artists such as Future, Tpain, Drake and Michael Jackson.
Future because he has no filter like in ‘High Off Life’ and T-Pain because he is an innovator who embodies simplicity. Drake’s ‘Nothing Was the Same’ heavily influenced me when younger and I obsessed over it when I was in eighth grade. Michael Jackson was my mom’s favorite artist which I listened to a lot growing up. We share the same birthday. — Chi
Moreover, his real life experiences and of those around him inspire his song-writing processes. These influences create a sound that is authentic and fearless, has great hooks, and is reminiscent of his mom’s favorite music when he was younger.

Chi is getting ready to release his latest EP “Married to Game''. This project was produced by WhoTFisEman, JB ``Turn me up” and Prodbytubby while OfficialMdknght did the engineering, mix and mastering.
About The EP
Chi’s upcoming EP, Married to the Game is a metaphor dedicated to your hustle, and not letting anything interrupt you or getting to your bag. The entire six-track EP is a storyline inspired by his own experiences and of those around him. The project is sonically decorated amidst compelling rhythms and poetic lyrics.
Each song is a different aspect of being married to the game, consequences, sacrifice, the highs and lows and the trials and tribulations you need to go through to get what you want in life. When you look at it from a birds eye view you notice later the choices you make (Tragic) are fundamental to your end goal (Made a Way).
In Tragic, Chi reflects “Too many times people done double cross me, fake love I wonder who really got me” This personal yet relatable line showcases some of the undesirable parts of being in the spotlight and living the fast life. Even when you know it’s tragic, Chi along with listeners know how hard it is to give it up. “This lifestyle is so toxic, but I just can’t give it up.”
The title track Married to the Game is where Chi talks about things he had to go through during his come up and how he has dedicated so much time to his hustle that he feels married to it.
Pay Me captures how it is living in the fast lifestyle and what comes with it. You have to live the way that you want to live and not care about what other people say or think of you.
Hope You Understand is the breakthrough track on this EP. It’s a very self reflective song, where Chi talks about his bad habits and toxic relationships blended in with his past events. “Hard times sippin water out the faucet”, at a time when not many people on the streets liked him before he came to be who he is now.
In Part of the Game, Chi talks about some of the things he used to have to do to get by and support his family. Doing those things was just ‘Part of the game’ and you can’t really complain cause that’s what you signed up for.
Made a Way is about persevering through tough times and making your own lane. It’s about being able to always get back on your feet no matter how many times you fall and not letting outside distractions stop you from achieving your goals.
