If you’re a photography enthusiast who loves nature and beautiful gardens, the Longwood Gardens photography workshop is a must-do experience. These workshops offer a unique opportunity to learn new techniques, meet other photographers, and enjoy exploring the beautiful garden landscape.
At Longwood Gardens, you’ll find over 1,077 acres of stunning horticulture, water features, and beautiful meadows. This natural landscape provides the perfect backdrop for capturing unique and memorable photographs. Whether an experienced photographer or a beginner, you’ll find inspiration around every corner.
The workshops are led by Jeffrey Wolk, a professional photographer who is passionate about his craft and enjoys sharing his knowledge and expertise. He provides expert guidance on camera settings, composition, lighting, and other essential elements of photography. You’ll have the chance to learn new techniques and put them into practice right away, allowing you to take your skills to the next level.
In addition to learning new skills and techniques, joining us on a Longwood Gardens photography workshop is a fun and enjoyable experience. The gardens are peaceful and tranquil and offer the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. You’ll have the opportunity to connect with other photographers and make new friends who share your passion for photography. The relaxed atmosphere of the workshop will encourage you to try new things and experiment with your camera, allowing you to express your creativity and produce stunning images.
One of the most significant benefits of attending a photography workshop at Longwood is the opportunity to capture unique images that you might not be able to get on your own. The gardens are constantly changing, offering new opportunities to photographers, flowers in full bloom, wildlife in their natural habitat, and scenic landscapes that you might not be able to capture elsewhere. This makes the workshop a perfect experience for those who want to develop their portfolio or just capture beautiful images to share with friends and family.
From May through September, you can also join us for the included Illuminated Fountain Performance; you need to bring a folding lawn chair.

Reviews:
Diana - This workshop was totally awesome! Jeffrey and Lynn were very open, warm, and friendly. This was a stress-free kind of day, in a beautiful setting, with such comradery around a shared passion for making photographs. It’s one thing to read, study, and maybe even attempt a particular photography concept on your own; it’s quite another to be gently guided by the experience of these instructors. This whole workshop really turned the lights on!
Tim - The workshop was a great way to reconnect to photography in a way that was tailored to our needs. The garden provided a wonderful variety of subjects, lighting, and perspectives to really enhance our photography skills. I would recommend it to a friend or family member.
